Shaz Lawrence has been a linguist and teacher for over 20 years. As well as teaching Mandarin, she is an education consultant and teacher trainer for school communities both locally and internationally.

Shaz Lawrence founded Mandarin Superstars in Australia in 2009. The innovative program soon became the most popular language program among parents and children in South Australia. Combining music, movement and Mandarin, classes are specifically focused on young learners and their developmental needs. Classes are high energy, nurturing and children are encouraged to be active learners of the language.

Shaz is the lead instructor of Mandarin Superstars and supervisors all classes to ensure high quality teaching and learning. Students from 2-7 years old are guided through engaging classes that accelerate the learning of Mandarin. Speaking, reading, and pre-writing activities are offered in each 75 minute class.
